Two Washington day trips this fall, one to getaway to Leavenworth with Liz and friends and fall foliage, and one with Liz to Bainbridge Island to pick up a coffee table. Both times we ended up wine tasting. Photos of pretty sights + coffee + wine + nail art below!
Leavenworth is a cute (and incredibly cheesy) german village in the Cascade Mountains east of Seattle. We stayed at our friend's Cabin on Lake Wenatchee, it was quiet, and the leaves were changing colors, and it was beautiful.
We wine tasted at Patterson Wine Cellars! And our last taste was of GLUEHWEIN- otherwise known as mulled wine. A german spiced and warmed red wine, so so cozy and nostalgic.
A respite between trips (+ showing off the cow nails!), Broadcast Coffee in Seattle. Editing, and reading.
The view from the ferry to Bainbridge is always unreal. A glimpse of the mountains, and the sky line from the Space Needle to Smith Tower.
Pegasus Coffee is the most charming cafe, with farmers market fresh food, and an outdoor patio with fires, and french bistro chairs.
And after picking up the COFFEE TABLE OF MY DREAMS from a woman on craigslist (I've got to do an apartment tour soon), we wine tasted at Bainbridge Vineyards. There are so many places to wine taste on the island, but this is the only place that grows their own grapes on the island! They were also having a wildlife refuge fundraiser, which is so magic. We met a blind owl!
