In need of a slightly last minute holiday table place setting? Make these Rosemary Wreaths!
All you need are some sprigs of Rosemary, which can be purchased at the market, or harvested from your indoor herb garden, some string, and paper + a pen. I used cooking twine (for the Turkey!), but you could use regular twine, hemp, yarn, sewing thread, embroidery floss, anything you have on hand. Don't have Rosemary or time to head to the market? You can use sprigs from your Christmas Tree.
Simply snip your Rosemary and shape into a circle. Tie off with your string. Cut strips of paper about one half inch thich and slighly longer than the diameter of your wreath. Cut indents on the ends. Write your guests names on the paper. Nestle the paper into the wreaths and you are done! Store in the refrigerator to preserve freshness.
I made these last year, for Thanksgiving, as well!;
How to make the gilded gourds shown in that last photo? Check out my tutorial here.
