A trip to my Grandparents home in New Hampshire always results in delicious food. They are from England (and still have their cute accents) and live a life of luxury, yet are so so giving and kind. One reason I love visiting them because they always make wonderful food. Their tableware is so beautiful. The color and pattern of the blue plates is my absolute favorite. They are the type of plates I want eventually when I have my own home. Their lunch room is in the kitchen and has an intricate tablecloth and wonderful natural light.
On this trip, for lunch, we had salad with any topping you please, from different veggies, to meats, to cheeses, and to fruits. Accompanying this we had fresh baked bread, sparkling water, and of course wine.
The evening meal is very formal and in the Dining Room. Which is very beautiuful with dark wood, a hand woven tablecloth, and a chandelier. For dinner we had chicken and vegetables. But for dessert we had the most delcious food. Homemade chocolate cake, with homemade lemon frosting, and homemade vanilla bean icecream with homemade rasberry sauce. Oh and of course, even more wine.
