I love love LOVE rings. I have wanted delicate rings for awhile now. I have wanted delicate midi rings, and rings that connect above and below the knuckle. I figured, why not make some? (last worn in this post) The best thing about this is that you are making rings custom fit to your fingers, so they fit perfectly. They will never slip off or get stuck. It is a really simple process, so here is the How-To Tutorial on how to make your own delicate chain rings.
Supplies;
Chain
Small Jump Rings
Pliers
String (optional)
-Use the string to measure around your finger where you want the ring to sit.
-Cut your chain to the desired length. The best thing is you can use whatever chain you want!
I just used extra bits of silver chain I had on hand.
-Use a jump ring to connect the ends of the chain.
-For knuckle connector rings, make a regular ring, and a midi ring.
Measure the space in between and cut two pieces of chain however long.
Attach with jump rings a little above half way on each side.
The best part about these rings is that they cost virtually nothing, especially if you already have leftover bits of chain. And you can make as many as you want, for whatever finger you want! Fit exactly to your fingers! So perfect!
