I love decorating collars, and recently collar tips are what I have become fascinated with. I found an ugly shirt at the thrift store that had these little tips on, and since it was only 3 dollars I bought it and took them off. I've cooked up 3 different Collar Tip DIY's and here is the first one, it is less of a DIY than the other two will be, but more of a how to explaining the process of putting these on. Hope you like it!
Supplies
Collared Shirt (mine is a sleevess one from HM)
Needle and Thread
Pliers
Collar Tips from an Old Shirt (try scouring racks at a thrift store)
How To:
Using pliers open the spaces on the back of the collar tips.
Slip the collars into the metal.
Use the pliers and press the edges securely down
Using a needle and matching thread, sew the tips on.
Amazing diy! Just fabulous:)
