This is my first ever attempt at shooting long exposures of the night sky. It was a beautiful night around Easter and so I decided to give it a try, I took these in the field across from my house.
Being alone outside at night is so incredible. I saw a herd of deer and heard them breathing and heard their hooves. It was so cool being so in touch with nature. Although, toward the end, I heard coyotes getting louder and louder until I could tell they were right near me and I saw them in the woods. I don't think I have EVER ran that fest. Next time I am certainly making someone come with me!

This is sooo beautiful! Did you use a tripod? My hands would be so tired after the 5 minute one!

These photos are really stunning, I really love that first one and the five minute exposure one is so interesting. Sounds like it would have been really cool to see the herd of dear, although definitely a little scary to see the coyotes!
