In my ongoing attempt at making hair chains that look chic, boho, and yet don't have a middle part section, I have created yet another style, others are here and here. Reminiscent of a crown with a gypsy twist, this one looks great with curls, waves, or straight hair. Here is my DIY tutorial on how to make a Gypsy Crown. As I wore here.
Supplies;
Chain,
Pliers,
Wire Cutters,
3 Jump Rings,
1 Lobster Clasp
Step One,
Measure loosely around your head where you want the crown to sit. Cut the chain with the wire cutters.
Step Two,
Fold in half. Cut two more pieces of chain about a little over a 1/2 inch shorter than the chain you cut in step 1 folded in half.
Step Three,
Attach a jump ring in the middle of the long piece of chain, and attach the two shorter pieces to this jump ring.
Step Four,
Connect the end with jump rings on both sides, and on one side also attach the lobster clasp.
Hope you love your new DIY Gypsy Crown!
xoxo
