In this post, I was wearing a leather and feather necklace that I made! Here is a DIY on how to make your own!
Supplies;
Leather Pieces
Feathers
Chain
Pliers
Jump Rings
Wire Cutters
Needle & Embroidery Needle
(^or one of those tools that makes holes in leather)
Step One,
Cut a piece of leather big enough to be the front piece.
Step Two,
Use the Needles or tool to make a hole big enough for the jump rings to go through.
Step Three,
Put the jump rings through the holes.
Step Four,
On the back of the leather put down tacky glue, and press in the feathers in your desired arrangement. (Don't worry if it is messy! It's only the back!)
Step Five,
On a smaller piece put glue, and press to the back of the feathers to hold them in place! (again, it doesn't need to be neat!)
Step Six,
Using the wire cutters, cut a piece of chain so the length is long enough to sit comfortably around your neck.
Step Seven,
Using the wire cutters, cut a short piece of chain, to drape across the front.
Step Eight,
Use the pliers to attach the chains to the jump rings.
And then you are done! So simple, so fun, and definitely a one of a kind statement piece.

This is a great D.I.Y this necklace looks like you bought it in a boutique. You should make more and sell them on Etsy!
