My grandpa gave me this film camera when I was 18, and I love it more than anything. It is what I formally learned photography on, I used to spend hours shooting rolls and rolls of film on this (and then hours and hours in the dark room processing it all). It felt sort of magic to follow in his foot steps with his camera. Also when I hold the camera up to my face to take a photo, I swear it still smells like his sandalwood aftershave.
Everything in this post I am wearing is Ethical and Sustainable. How? Shopping second hand is the most sustainable way to shop. The skirt and jacket are preloved and reworked items coming soon to Jaelle Designs. The skirt was once a dress. Recognize the jacket? It has had quite the journey, from here to here) and I am almost ready to part with it as part of my upcoming collection. The boots I thrifted on Poshmark, and the turtleneck (100% cotton Talbots!!!) I thrifted from Goodwill. The earrings are Mejuri.
