(outfit details; dress, For Love and Lemons. jacket, Vintage Levi DIY. shoes, adidas. choker, Mejuri.)
Obsessed with dressing down formal dresses with denim jackets and white sneakers. Especially when the dresses are midi length, with a plunging neckline, and covered in sequined lemons, pineapples, and bananas. A tropical vacation in a dress.
I love that this For Love and Lemons number is fun, feels fresh and looks current, yet has this classic feel to it with the midi length and the ribbon tie shoulders. It's definitely too formal to wear daily with heels or boots, but paired down with sneakers, it's perfect for hopping around the city, visiting art museums, brunching, and drinking rosé at happy hour.
I can't seem to get on to the "fugly" "dad" sneaker trend bandwagon, I happily will settle for these streamlined yet sporty adidas sneakers, that fit seamlessly into my athleisure/ practicality void. (+ in 6 months I won't hate them). Fashion that feels fresh but that won't fade in a blink.
We spent the day popping into different art museums, SFMOMA and BAMPFA. My art-school-degree-heart was exploding all day.
