Why do I love Oona's? For starters it is a locally owned business, that has been in the same place for decades (since 1972!). It is a female owned business. Currently under the ownership of Marianna- who grew up falling in love with Vintage fashion scouring the racks of Oona's! Shopping local and shopping small is SO important. But we all know that by now. A way to elevate your conscious shopping? The ultimate in sustainable? VINTAGE. This also makes for one-of-a-kind finds. I had the honor of modeling for Oona's shot by Lauren O'Neil for the second time this fall. A silk velvet dress from the 1930's, a preppy collegiate (very Cambridge) look, a mod boho look from the 60's/70's, a dress from the 1930's and an old doctor's bag from the 40's, and a witchy art-deco look.
Fun fact; Oona is the name of the original owners daughter! So cool!
