I am way too excited about Fall and Halloween over here! And pretty excited about these pumpkins. First of all nothing is better than white pumpkins. And with their sweet faces and little crowns, how could you not love these guys? Read on for a DIY tutorial on how to make these mini pumpkins with flower crowns and leaf crowns.
What You Need;
-mini white pumpkins
-fine tip sharpie
-wire
-flowers (I used dried babies breath)
-leaves
-modge podge (rubber cement could work too)
What To Do;
-Draw little faces onto the pumpkins.
Tip; practice first on paper and lightly sketch with a pencil onto the pumpkin.
-I did smiling ones, sleepy ones, winking ones,
and some ghost ones- perfect for Halloween.
-For the crowns, cut the wire to a length that fits around and sits on top, overlapping a bit.\.
-For the flower crowns wrap the wire around the flower stems and then wrap the ends around each other to secure.
-There are two ways to attach the leaves to the wire,
-By weaving the wire through the leaves, and secure the ends by wrapping.
-Or by folding the leaves over the wire and securing with modge podge (press under a book to dry)
then secure the ends.
-Place the crowns on the pumpkins and display!
-These are perfect for your Halloween or Thanksgiving displays!
