I love a good set- so versatile! They can be worn together or as separates. This one from Free People is too good- whimsical with a slight sophistication. It has a blue and black design peppered with white beads. The key to making the set work as separates is focusing on a detail or color in the pattern and accentuating that detail up. I chose silver to be the metal I carried throughout all three looks. Pairing perfectly with my mirrored chrome nails- I am obsessed!
The top has these amazing cape sleeves that almost act like a kimono. Paired with matching soft shorts. Together they appear like a romper. For my first look I wore them together. The neckline was perfect for a pop of lace and a lariat from my own line, @jaelledesigns. Minimal styling, the set speaks for itself.
For the second look, I pulled out the black undertones of the embellishment. Pairing the set's top with a black choker from my own line, a black watch, and added silver with mirrored sunnies (that match my chrome nails as well as the black) and a bangle from my own line. Popped the white beading with a white lace bra.
For the third look I pulled out the white details from the beading with a white tee. Pulled out the grey with a grey applique bra. Stacked on silver mirrored sunnies and silver rings. And a silver necklace from my own line.
