I am exactly half British and half Italian. British on my mom's side, Italian on my dad's. Every Christmas eve my father, who adores cooking and baking always does Italian food. In the past he has gone down to the North End in Boston to get food, but in the more recent years he has made everything from scratch. This year, for dinner we had homemade ravioli, Sausage, Lobster, Spinach, and Sweet Potato, with freshly shredded parmesan cheese. The only meat I eat is chicken and turkey, so I had the Spinach and Sweet Potato. For dessert he made homemade biscotti, and bought gelato at a local Gelateria. Yum.
